• Pennsylvania strangers make real life connection in car wash photoshoot gone viral: From CBS News: Red Rhino Car Wash in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, was the site of a meeting of two complete strangers for a photoshoot set up by Amanda Johnson, a photographer from Levittown, who occasionally creates such “stranger sessions.” In this case, the images of the couple interacting for the first time at the car wash - and their undeniable connection - has drawn hundreds of thousands of viewers. The photo shoot documented the first time they saw each other and includes playful scenes around the car wash. Read more here.

• The Arizona Lottery recently announced that a winning $1 million Powerball ticket was sold at a Cobblestone Auto Spa in Chandler, Arizona. The ticket also had a Powerplay, which would double the amount to $2 million. The Powerball jackpot currently stands at $246 million.

• Crew Carwash recently held a grand opening for its newest location in Munster, Indiana. It is the 54^th location for the car wash company, which has sites in Minnesota and Indiana. Founded in 1948 by Joe Dahm, Crew Carwash is an Indiana-based, multi-generational family business. The name ‘Crew’ honors their dedicated and talented crew members who work hard at each location.

• Construction is under way on a new WCW Carwash in San Angelo, Texas., WCW Carwash was issued a permit in the amount of $4 million to build a brand-new car wash at 1434 N. Bryant Blvd. Work is in the early stages as dirt has been dug up and holes have been placed for infrastructure. This is the second WCW Carwash in San Angelo with the other being located at 6004 Grand Court Rd. An official opening date for the new location has not yet been set.

• Wash Time car wash uses water from innovative purification system: A new water purification installation was unveiled recently at the Keiberg-Vossem business park in Tervuren, Belgium. Among the users of this innovative system is car wash, Wash Time, which now uses purified rainwater collected on site. According to Car Wash Pro, the system uses a technique unique in Flanders. All rainwater at the business park is now collected in an “amphithewater” – a landscaped buffer basin that also serves as a recreational space for nearby residents and company staff. As the water is naturally filtered and purified, it is either made available to nearby businesses or infiltrated into the soil to help replenish groundwater during dry periods.
