However, the waiting game appears back on again after yet another appeal has been filed by petitioners against the project, according to a report by the Valley Breeze of Lincoln, R.I.

  • U.S. bankruptcy trustee questions Fuller’s Car Wash ‘insider’ financial maneuvers: A story on Patch.com, outlines the latest court filing in the bankruptcy case of the Fuller’s Car Wash in Hinsdale, Illinois, where a 14-year-old boy died in 2023 after being struck by a car driven out of the car wash by an employee. In late January, the car wash filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, just before depositions were scheduled in a wrongful death suit. The U.S. trustee in the bankruptcy claims Fuller’s shifted assets to “insiders” before the bankruptcy filing in January. Read more here.

  • Tommy’s Express Car Wash welcomes the community for a weekend-long celebration marking the grand opening of its first-ever ‘World Model’ location in Holland, Michigan. The World Model is a streamlined, high-performance solution for urban areas with limited space. It features a pre-installed aluminum wash bay with complete plumbing, all within a four-month build target. Guests this weekend can enjoy giveaways, fun activities and support a local non-profit today through Sunday. A portion of all washes on Saturday will be donated to the Outdoor Discovery Center, a nonprofit focused on outdoor education and conservation.

  • Construction is well underway on a new Lipton Car Wash in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The work is being completed by Bold Commercial Construction LLC. The gravel base fill and conveyor trench are in place, setting the stage for slab prep and vertical construction. Site grading and utility coordination are ongoing as the company pushes toward the next major milestones.
