Tommy’s Express Car Wash is bringing back its ‘Tunnel of Terror’ experience! 

Tommy’s Express Car Wash is celebrating this year’s Halloween with tricks, treats, and… some throwback? This popular car wash company is bringing back their Tunnel of Terror cleaning experience.

Running four times in a row already, this car wash treat is having car owners distinguish between normal car cleaning, and its “haunted” counterpart.

This 4th Annual Tunnel of Terror is being held for two weekends this month of October.

It works this way: customers safely drive through the tunnels of Tommy’s Express Car Wash. The tunnels are transformed into the spookiest you could ever imagine. Think of Scooby-Doo and his pals’ van running through a wave of ghastly, green ghouls.

The Tunnel of Terror car wash is running this October 17th and 18th in Eastside from 7 to 10 p.m. at 11330 Montwood, while it will be this October 24th and 25th in the Westside, same timeslots, at 5704 N. Mesa.

Non-members could avail of the Halloween-themed car wash for $25, while it’s discounted at $10 for the shop’s members. The latter category also gets access to an exclusive, tune-in playlist.

‘Tunnel-style’ car washing is the newest talk of the town

Before this style, car wash companies would compete with each other on which has got the most advanced hoses. But these are bygone eras already.

Today, tunnel-style car washing is the newest fad. This style utilizes clean technology and all its benefits.

One of the leading companies in the industry that follows this trend is the Diamond Express car wash.

He tells the public the car wash shop won’t wash his car. Angered by being recorded on video, the shop’s staff confronted him.

Later in the viral Instagram clip, the customer admitted it was a mistake, since he refused the water wax service, leading to the business’ refusal to provide their services. The video has already garnered thousands of likes, as of press time.

“I don’t understand why you would get angry that he doesn’t want a normal wash, take your car to another car wash and wash it easily, WHY DRAMA?” commented a netizen.

Hamden car wash raided, 7 people taken into custody 

About seven people, including children, were taken into custody, courtesy of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, in a car wash in Hamden, Wednesday morning. Hamden is a town in Connecticut.

The raid took place at a shop on Dixwell Avenue near Third and Fourth Streets. The media are keeping mum on the real reason why the car wash was raided. However, authorities are out and about condemning the incident.

“This terrible act of inhumanity is a gross violation of human dignity, and incongruent with the core values we cherish in Hamden,” authorities say. “Hamden proudly welcomes everyone. Our immigrant community members are an integral and valued part of the Hamden fabric. Hamden will continue to stand with our residents and uphold our fundamental principles.”

Stinger Chemicals slated to host free automotive detailing training

Premium detailing and car wash chemical brand Stinger Chemicals is currently hosting automotive detailing training sessions for car care professionals for free. It is running for this month of October.

The Houston-based company will host bilingual sessions, one in English and the other in Spanish. There will be three major courses: When and How to Sand for the Perfect Finish, Advanced Paint Correction, and Ceramic Application and Maintenance.
