👉Links Car Wash continues its rapid expansion in Florida
Links Car Wash recently completed an acquisition, capping a 2024 year of tremendous growth for the express car wash brand. A four-unit Jallo Car Wash portfolio has been purchased by Links, the sale of which was facilitated by Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, who represented the seller. The Jallo sites are located across Tampa, Florida. Read more here.
👉Federal judge orders Autobell data breach lawsuits consolidated
A pair of data pair breach lawsuits against Autobell Car Wash LLC arising over a cybersecurity incident last year have been consolidated into one class action suit. In an order filed on Dec. 31 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, Judge Max Cogburn Jr. granted plaintiffs’ motion to consolidate the class actions. Read more here.
👉National Carwash Solutions acquires AMP Memberships
In a deal that will greatly increase its technological footprint, National Carwash Solutions announced on Tuesday the acquisition of AMP Memberships LLC. AMP, the creators of an innovative membership mobile app as well as the Clarity point-of-sale (POS) systems, becomes a strategic addition to NCS, which is now primed to off a suite of integrated solutions tailored to the needs of each car wash owner and operator. 👉Argosy acquires controlling interest in Mr. Splash Car Wash
Argosy Private Equity, a lower middle market private equity firm, announced on Thursday it had acquired a controlling interest in Mr. Splash Car Wash. Mr. Splash is a six-site express car wash chain based in the greater Madison, Wisconsin, area with two additional sites set to open by the end of the year (in Stoughton and Madison). Co-owners Jeff Joos and Tony Ruiz partnered together in 2019 to build Mr. Splash into the largest express car wash chain in central Wisconsin. Read more here.
