👉Raceway Car Wash acquires its seventh location in Dallas, Texas, area
Raceway Car Wash recently completed the acquisition of Rowlett Car Wash in Rowlett, Texas. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The site marks the company’s 46th location across four different states and seventh in the Dallas metropolitan region. Read more here.
👉Retired Georgia teacher wins new car in Big Dan's Car Wash giveaway
A retired Floyd County teacher was excited to learn she had won a year of free car washes, but Big Dan’s Car Wash in Rome, Georgia, has an even bigger surprise for her. Deborah Conaway arrived at the car wash last Tuesday after being notified of her free car wash surprise but while there, she was surprised again to learn she also won a brand new 2025 Nissan Pathfinder. 👉Autobell Car Wash marks 25 years of creek cleanup with 'big haul'
Over the past 25 years, team members from Charlotte, N.C.-based Autobell Car Wash have donned rubber boots and grabbed trash pickers to care for the company’s adopted portion of the city’s Little Sugar Creek Greenway. The Autobell ‘Creek Walk’ cleanup effort began in 2000 as part of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities “Adopt-A-Stream” program, in conjunction with Mecklenburg County’s launch of a major stream restoration project for this waterway. 👉The back-and-forth legal battle for one ScrubaDub Car Wash in Rhode Island
A January Providence County Superior Court decision upholding development plans appeared ready to allow the construction of a long-awaited ScrubaDub Car Wash location in North Providence, Rhode Island. However, the waiting game appears back on again after yet another appeal has been filed by petitioners against the project, according to a report by the Valley Breeze of Lincoln, R.I. Read more here.
