👉Mister Car Wash 2025 first quarter report crushes expectations
Mister Car Wash’s report of 2025 first quarter earnings released late last week surpassed analysts’ expectations and was filled with some positive news for the company. The Tucson, Arizona-based company reported first-quarter profit of $27 million, including a 9 percent revenue jump over the same period last year. MCW also reported a 6 percent increase in comparable sales growth (most analysts predicted around 3.6 percent). Read more here.
👉A look back at the 2025 Car Wash Show in Las Vegas
There was a high-dollar McLaren sports car, a dirt sprint race car, millions of dollars of car wash equipment and chemicals, massage chairs, greeting cards and even a bar (booth) crawl. The wasn’t much you couldn’t find at the International Carwash Association’s 2025 edition of The Car Wash Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It shouldn’t be a surprise in a way. 👉Driven Brands Holdings Inc. faces third shareholder class action lawsuit
Driven Brands Holdings Inc., the largest automotive services company in North America, is facing another shareholder class action lawsuit – the third filed since December 2023. The most recent verified stockholder derivative action was filed on April 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina in Charlotte, N.C., by Jonathan Gaiman, a shareholder in Driven. 👉ZIPS Car Wash honors teachers and nurses, launches Folds of Honor fundraiser
ZIPS Car Wash, to collectively celebrate National Teacher Appreciation Day and National Nurses Appreciation Day this week, is providing free car washes to teachers and nurses across the country. Teachers and nurses are receiving hero-themed free wash cards this week as local leaders across the country, representing ZIPS Car Wash, Jet Brite Car Wash and Rocket Express Car Wash give away over 100,000 free car washes to school and medical facility staff. 👉New Orleans car wash seized as a result of drug trafficking investigation
Federal and local authorities earlier this week announced the seizure of a New Orleans car wash they claim has been a source of drug trafficking and other criminal activities. The Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office announced the seizure of the 5 Star Auto Spa on Monday following what it described as a months-long investigation in coordination with Homeland Security Investigations, the New Orleans Police Department Special Operations Division and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
