👋Good morning! Welcome to the weekend. Each Saturday, we’ll send out a truncated version of the Car Wash Daily News email newsletter, which will include a roundup of the top stories that appeared over the course of the previous week.
👉As a reminder, to give you an idea of what the newsletter has to offer, you can access all of its contents - including the long-form version of stories teased on the newsletter - until later this month. For any business that sees a great amount of consumer interaction, fielding phone calls – whether over complaints or just general inquiries – can disrupt the normal flow of operations. 👉Facing tariff threat, Triumph Car Wash Parts plans U.S. distribution center
At least one parts supplier in the car wash industry is taking the threat of tariffs on Canadian goods by U.S. President Donald Trump very seriously. Triumph Car Wash Parts, which is based in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, announced on Tuesday that it was preparing for the possibility of 25 percent tariffs on Canadian goods entering the United States. 👉Report: Spotless Brands exploring possibility of sale
One of the largest car wash companies in the United States is exploring a sale, according to Reuters, a news agency based in London. In a report published Wednesday, Reuters cited anonymous sources that claim the owners of Spotless Brands are exploring a sale that could value the car wash operator at nearly $3 billion including debt. 👉Women in Carwash Conference "transformative" experience for newcomer in the industry
My first experience at the Women in Carwash Conference was in a word, “Transformative”! I expected it to be like most conferences with a “tradeshow” format and feel. I was apprehensive and nervous about meeting a bunch of women in this industry who would be judgmental, patronizing and unwelcoming to a newcomer and someone who was not already part of the clique.
